Donation Requests
PURPOSE
Living Edge Creations LLC (“LEC”) considers requests for in-kind support in the form of custom woodworking items and/or donated labor toward qualifying projects. LEC does not provide cash or monetary donations. All requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and approval is granted solely at LEC’s discretion.
DONATION LIMITS & ELIGIBILITY
One (1) verifiable donation is available per organization per calendar year (or any rolling twelve-month period, at LEC’s discretion).
Verification documentation may be required.
Requests may be declined due to scheduling constraints, project complexity, safety considerations, or lack of alignment with LEC’s capabilities or mission.
Additional requests within the same year may be considered only after all prior projects, invoices, deposits, and reimbursable costs owed to Living Edge Creations LLC have been paid in full.
MATERIALS, SOURCING & COST RESPONSIBILITY
All materials, hardware, finishes, consumables, shipping or delivery costs, and any outsourced or specialty services are the responsibility of the requestor. Material pricing and availability may be affected by market conditions, shortages, transportation disruptions, or governmental tariffs. The requestor agrees to assume responsibility for any additional costs. Work may be paused until additional costs are approved and paid in full.
LABOR DONATION PARAMETERS
Donated labor is limited to actual labor cost and capped at twenty (20) total labor hours or a maximum labor value of nine hundred dollars ($900.00), whichever is reached first. This valuation is internal and does not establish or guarantee Living Edge Creations LLC’s standard hourly billing rate. Any labor beyond the approved limit will be billed at standard rates.
DELIVERY
If delivery or installation is selected, time spent on loading, transportation, unloading, site coordination, and return travel may count toward donated labor hours. Any excess time will be billed at standard rates.
TIMEFRAME
A minimum of three (3) months’ advance notice is required for all donation requests. Requests submitted with less than three (3) months’ notice may not be feasible due to prior scheduled work or material lead times.
PROMOTIONAL AGREEMENT
Requestor agrees to credit Living Edge Creations LLC and provide photos or videos of the donated item or work for promotional use. Resale is permitted only for approved fundraising purposes with proper attribution.
LIABILITY & ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Requestor agrees to all terms, including liability waiver, payment responsibilities, and acknowledgments as outlined in this document.
